March 12 - International School Meals Day

March 12 – International School Meals Day is a great opportunity to once again remind that healthy habits are formed from childhood. Proper and balanced nutrition directly affects children’s well-being, their activity level, concentration, and academic performance.
To mark this occasion, educational institutions of the Fontanka Village Council held engaging and informative activities for students:
-
thematic lessons and integrated classes dedicated to the culture of healthy eating;
-
discussion sessions about the impact of nutrition on health, concentration, and well-being;
-
practical activities for children, including modeling the “healthy eating plate,” discussing nutritious foods, and analyzing their own daily eating habits.
Educators of the Fontanka community pay special attention to promoting a culture of healthy nutrition among students. In the community, hot and high-quality school meals are provided free of charge for all students, as caring for children is one of the key priorities.
Because healthy, active, and happy children are the strong future of our community.
