Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko's Birthday in the Educational and Cultural Institutions of the Fontanka Community

March in Ukraine is impossible to imagine without the name of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko. His word is alive, strong, and prophetic. When the lines of the Kobzar are sounded — Ukraine speaks louder.
This is how educational and cultural institutions celebrated the birthday of the Great Poet — creatively, brightly, and with great love for the Ukrainian word. Students, teachers, and cultural workers joined the Shevchenko Days. The following events took place in the institutions:
🎨 Art exhibitions and drawing contests, where children conveyed the image of the Kobzar and the themes of his works through art;
📚 Book exhibitions that opened new pages of the poet’s творчества;
❓ Quizzes, during which participants tested their knowledge about the life and works of Shevchenko;
💻 An online quest that united students in an exciting journey through the pages of his works;
🕯 Educational sessions dedicated to the figure of the Kobzar and his role in the history of Ukraine;
📖 Poetry readings, where familiar lines sounded sincere and inspiring;
🎬 As well as the creation of a video clip based on a fragment of the poem “The Hireling (Naimychka)”, in which students conveyed the depth and power of Shevchenko’s word.
And today the lines of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko sound just as powerful as they did centuries ago — inspiring new generations, reminding us who we are, where our strength comes from, and why the Ukrainian word will always live.
