Their future is our responsibility

By supporting the children of our Heroes, we are building the future of Ukraine. Education, safety, and support for the children of Ukrainian Defenders are an investment in the country's future. Lviv British School is implementing a nationwide educational program, "Supporting Children of Ukrainian Heroes," aimed at providing the children of Heroes with opportunities for quality learning, growth, and a happy future.
Children of Heroes are our responsibility. Donating to the army, buying drones, raising millions for equipment, and supplying the front with everything needed is our daily duty. This is what supports our defense and allows the country to keep living. At the same time, there is another extremely important duty that we must not forget — supporting the children of our Heroes. These are the sons and daughters of Ukraine's Defenders who will never come home again. They have given the ultimate price for Ukraine's freedom — their own lives. Unfortunately, we cannot bring a child's mom or dad back. We cannot take away the pain of this loss. But we can and must do everything to ensure that the childhood of these children is not erased by war, and that their future is not defined solely by loss. Educational Program 'Supporting Children of Ukrainian Heroes' That's why Lviv British School has created and is implementing the nationwide educational program 'Supporting Children of Ukrainian Heroes.' The mission of the program is to surround children with maximum care, provide them with a safe and comfortable environment, quality education, and open up a world of new opportunities for them. The program offers comprehensive support: Quality modern education — a combination of Ukrainian state standards with a British curriculum, advanced language learning, development of critical thinking, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. Safety and comfort — modern learning, living, and staying conditions where every child can feel safe and accepted. Comprehensive development — quality nutrition, professional psychological support, sports clubs, creative circles, and academic opportunities to reveal talents. We strive for the children of our Heroes to feel like strong and confident individuals with open prospects and opportunities, rather than being defined by loss. The program is already up and running. Today, "Supporting Children of Ukrainian Heroes" is not just a social initiative or an idea — it’s already in action. The first participants of the program, children of servicemen from various brigades and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are studying within the walls of Lviv British School. However, our goal is far bigger — to provide quality education and comprehensive support to 100 children from all corners of Ukraine, including regions hardest hit by combat, de-occupied territories, and hero cities. Partner support means the chance to help even more children.
